A word from some volunteers...
"Volunteering with Cash for Kids has changed me so much; I've met so many new people from it and have also gained tonnes more confidence. People should sign up to be a volunteer as it opens many new doors and the feeling that you'll get from it is so rewarding, because you know that after a day fundraising, disadvantaged children in Northern Ireland are going to receive the benefits that you have put in!"
Megan
"I started volunteering about a year ago after hearing the radiothon for Cash for Kids. I realised I wanted to do something to help the charity. There is so much that you get out of volunteering its unreal, seeing the smile on kids’ faces who benefit is the best though! What I enjoy most is going out and mixing with the public and explaining to them why this is such a great charity!"
Judith
"Being a full-time volunteer for Cash for Kids helped me achieve so much. I hadn't worked for any employer for over the time period of three months before I started with Cash for Kids, and I was 22 when I started volunteering. It takes caring about the task in hand to stick at it and get the experience. It has stood me in good stead for various job opportunities with a wiser head on my shoulders."

Help us to help them...
Our mission is to raise money for the thousands of disadvantaged children in Northern Ireland who are counting on our support. Funds raised directly benefit children and young people aged 0-17 with a focus on alleviating disability, combating illness, improving quality of life, encouraging personal development and aspirational fulfillment.
With the help of our volunteers we are able to plan, organise and facilitate various Cash for Kids fundraising events throughout the year. By doing so, we also come one step closer to bringing joy and happiness to children throughout the country who we are able to support.
Whether you help by selling raffle tickets, processing donations or jumping off a 90 foot crane... every effort will help us in our mission to reach out to those in need!
Personal development...
As if helping others wasn't enough, volunteering in any respect also helps you to develop your working and interpersonal skills.
Amongst other things, volunteering will enable you to
- Meet new people and share great company.
- Learn new skills.
- Gain valuable work experience.
- Gain confidence and improve self esteem.
- Help a worthy cause.
Who can volunteer?
We appreciate any help that anyone may be willing to give us. Regardless of race, religion, colour, gender, sexual orientation, disability or political opinion, Cash for Kids has a place for you! Opportunities exist for anyone whether they are working, unemployed, retired or students.
